Who is this bike suitable for?
The 2016 Lapierre Overvolt FS 600 features 140 / 150mm of travel and the new Bosch CX performance motor. This Overvolt full suspension electric bike is a great all rounder for general All Mountain / Trail Center / XC / Free Ride use. The Lapierre Overvolt FS 600 eMTB takes on its own breed of performance electric mountain biking.
What an amazing bit of kit. Had the bike for a month now, I have never had so much fun out in the woods in the mud and it also acts a great commuter bike for getting to work and back occasionally. Originally I contacted e-bike shop and spoke to Martin and he was extremely helpful, he sent me links of videos etc for every question I had so I would fully understand. I couldn't recommend this company enough 10/10..
New Features
Lapierre have been working hard to create the ultimate all mountain eBike for 2016 - Say hello to the new Overvolt!
Utilizing their already proven OST+ geometry and design skills from the Lapierre Zesty & Spicy range the new Overvolt FS 600 takes it to a whole new level for 2016.
Lapierre's very own Nico Vouilloz (10 times MTB World Champion) has tweaked the design of this eMTB to keep it performing above the rest when it comes to off road performance.
The new Fox Float DPS Performance rear shock on the FS 600 features 3 stages of adjustment for on-the-fly rider adjustment. This Dual Piston System allows for the shock to be completely locked out, left completely open or the mid stage allows maximum efficiency but gives as required when riding over bumpier terrain.
The adjustability gives full control over varied terrain.
Up front we see the new 2016 FOX Float 34 forks, now offering an even lighter weight chassis from it's predecessors. True trail performance and ultimate control comes from the redeveloped and new FiT4 system from FOX.
Like the rear shock mentioned above, the Float 34's come with 3 on the fly rider selectable positions: Fully open, Fully Locked & Medium. By use of a shock pump this air adjustable fork can be tuned to the rider's weight allowing a truly versatile set up.
We see Shimano hydraulic disc brakes on the Lapierre FS 600. These brakes offer minimal maintenance and ensure you can stop as fast as you accelerate. A fully sealed system on larger rotors for maximum stopping power.
For 2016 this is matched with the Shimano XT 11 speed drivetrain.
On the 2016 Lapierre Overvolt FS 600 the wheels are 27.5" (650B), so optimize the benefits of both 26" & 29" and combine them into one fast rolling, easy to manoeuvre wheel size. Lapierre have selected a new set of wheels for 2016 - Mavic EN323's!
These are built on Mavic double wall rims, sealed Formula through axle hubs and built with toughness in mind to handle even harsher all mountain conditions.
The Overvolt FS 600 features 1 x 10 Shimano XT gearing so you can ensure you have a vast range for various off road terrain.
The front ring is mounted in front of a guide on the motor to make sure everything stays true. It also acts as a great guard against UK trail crud building up here.
Lapierre have created a custom chain tensioner to keep the chain running straight, this is coupled with the Shimano XT clutch mech and ensures their is no chain slop.
To finish this bike off, Lapierre have added some great kit, it comes as standard with a Easton saddle post & stem. Even Nico has added his touch to the handlebars with his signature 760mm wide bars.

Bosch CX & Intuvia eBike System
The new Lapierre Overvolt FS 600 2016 eBike also features the latest Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The new 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 300% assistance on turbo mode.
Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Lapierre FS 600 features a Bosch 400Wh PowerPack Battery for 2016 so you can be sure it's equipped for a full day in the saddle.

This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
