Who is this bike suitable for?
The 2016 Lapierre Overvolt 700 features 140 / 150mm of travel and the new Bosch CX performance motor. With full XT 11 speed and RockShox Pike's, this full suspension electric bike is a great all rounder for general All Mountain / Trail Center / XC / Free Ride use. The Lapierre Overvolt FS 700 eMTB takes on its own breed of performance electric mountain biking.
The Lapierre FS 700 performed well and exceeded my expectations. It was felt light for an eBike and really flowy, the bike is well balanced and a little air time just came natural on the bike. What more could you want. This is a killer bike for the swag!..

Lapierre have been working hard to create the ultimate all mountain eBike for 2016 - Say hello to the new Overvolt!
Utilizing their already proven OST+ geometry and design skills from the Lapierre Zesty & Spicy range the new Overvolt FS 700 takes it to a whole new level for 2016.
Lapierre's very own Nico Vouilloz (10 times MTB World Champion) has tweaked the design of this eMTB to keep it performing above the rest when it comes to off road performance.
The 2016 Lapierre Overvolt FS 700 features the new RockShox Monarch rear shock and Pike RC fork to match.
The Monarch RT shock is air pressure adjustable to the riders weight and this new design offers silky smooth travel and due to it's lightweight design handles the bumps better than ever!
Rockshox offers rider flexibility with the 'Pedal' function on the Monarch RT where the shock will remain fairly solid whilst pedalling to maintain efficiency. This ultimate trail fork was requested back into the market by 1000's of riders and considered to be the best fork possible in it's class.
Up front we see the new RockShox Pike RC fully air adjustable fork is built on 150mm travel and 35mm stanchions for ultimate stiffness and strength.
The unique Dual Position Air (DPA) setting allows the rider a selectable travel setting, so you can reduce it when riding lighter terrain.
This along with the lockout compression settings eman it's one of the most versatile / adjustable forks on the market.
We see Shimano hydraulic disc brakes on the Lapierre FS 700. These brakes offer minimal maintenance and ensure you can stop as fast as you accelerate. A fully sealed system on larger rotors for maximum stopping power.
For 2016 this is matched with the Shimano XT 11 speed drivetrain.
These are built on double wall rims, sealed through axle hubs and built with toughness in mind to handle even harsher all mountain conditions.
To maintain traction on these lovely wheels are the new Schwalbe Hans Dampf Performance tyres, German made for superior grip on all mountain use across mixed terrain with maximum protection.
Although they come as standard with tubes, these tyres are fully tubeless compatible from stock.
The 2016 Lapierre Overvolt FS 700 is equipped with Shimano's new 11 speed drivetrain. The 2016 XT setup offers a huge range of gearing from 11 to 42 teeth at the rear.
So you have excellent ratios for both climbing and flying back down the trails.
We like the fact that Lapierre have matched up the complete drivetrain and brakes on this model. So you have matchmaker components for a refined clean cockpit. You are getting full Shimano XT 11 speed, RockShox front and rear, New Bosch Performance CX drive system and new 500Wh power pack all for well under £4k! Winner!..
Bosch CX & Intuvia eBike System
The new Lapierre Overvolt FS 700 2016 eBike also features the latest Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The new 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 300% assistance on turbo mode.
Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Lapierre FS 700 features the brand new Bosch 500Wh PowerPack Battery for 2016 so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric mountain bike.

This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
