Who is this bike suitable for?
With 140mm travel and the Bosch performance motor, the new Lapierre Overvolt 900 full suspension electric bike is a great all rounder for general All Mountain / Trail Center / XC / Free Ride use. The Lapierre Overvolt FS 900 eMTB takes on its own breed of performance electric mountain biking.
What an amazing bit of kit. Had the bike for a month now, I have never had so much fun out in the woods in the mud and it also acts a great commuter bike for getting to work and back occasionally. Originally I contacted e-bike shop and spoke to Martin and he was extremely helpful, he sent me links of videos etc for every question I had so I would fully understand. I couldn't recommend this company enough 10/10..
New Features
Lapierre have been working hard to create the ultimate all mountain eBike, using their already proven geometry and design skills and bring this to the eBike scene.
Lapierre's very own Nico Vouilloz (10 times MTB World Champion) has tweaked the design of this eMTB to keep it performing above the rest when it comes to off road performance.
On the FS 900 you also go up to a set of RockShox Revelation RL 140mm forks and upgrade from the Deore / SLX grade drivetrain on the FS 500 to a complete Shimano XT drivetrain and XT brakes on the FS 900.
The FS 900 is finished with Easton components and rolls on Mavic double wall alloy 650B rims, formula hubs which are sealed bearing and through axle both front and rear.
Super stiff and reliable wheels should be covered in decent rubber, Lapierre have opted for the super grippy Michelin Wild Grip'r tyres for all terrain use.
We also see a sealed FSA tapered headset and Nico's very own 720mm wide handlebars produced by Funn.
The Overvolt full suspension electric bike benefits from the new 650B / 27.5" wheel size.
This new wheel is designed with the benefits of the bigger 29" in wheel in mind, so it rolls fast and flows over bumps easier, but uses the 26" wheel characteristics for good maneuverability through tight single track areas.
Bosch Performance System
The new Lapierre FS 900 eBike also feature the latest Bosch Performance crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance. This system outputs 60Nm of torque & peaks at 500w!
It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 275% assistance on turbo mode, while Eco mode offers a more subtle 50% assistance. There are 4 levels of assistance and remember you can always turn it off completely and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Lapierre FS 900 features the Bosch 400Wh PowerPack Battery so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric bike.

This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialed in for optimum performance. On all suspension models, be sure to let us know your weight as we can pre adjust the suspension to the desired rider weight, giving the perfect balance and agility specifically for individuals needs. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
