Who is this bike suitable for?
With 120mm travel and the Bosch Performance motor, the new Lapierre Overvolt HT 900 electric bike is a great all rounder for general Trail Center / XC / Everday hard tail use.
The Lapierre Overvolt eMTB takes on its own breed of performance electric mountain biking.
I have been gradually expanding my range and types of terrain on it and so far it's been brilliant!.. It's so nice to have the extra power to keep the bike going. And more importantly even more fun to leave my poor husband for dead on the steep uphills! Tables have been well and truly turned!
New Features
The new Lapierre Overvolt HT 900 is the bigger brother to the HT 500. For 2015 Lapierre have kitted this eBike out with higher grade components to the HT 500.
It also features the Bosch Performance electric bike system for more overall assistance and torque.
The HT 900 features the same chassis as the HT 500 but offers Shimano XT / SLX 10 speed gear system and Deore hydraulic disk brakes.
Lapierre has been working hard to create the ultimate all mountain eBike, using their already proven geometry and design skills and bring this to the eBike scene.
Lapierre's very own Nico Vouilloz (10 times MTB World Champion) has tweaked the design of this eMTB to keep it performing above the rest when it comes to off road performance.
We also move up on the forks to the 120mm travel RockShox Reba RL which are air adjustable for the riders weight. They feature a lock out system for riding uphill or on less bumpy terrain with optimal pedal efficiency.
As with the HT 500 the Lapierre Overvolt HT models are rolling on Mavic 650B double wall alloy rims and Formula sealed bearing hubs. The hubs use a through axle mounting front and rear to ensue a super strong and stiff wheel set designed to hit the trails harder and faster than ever before!
Nico has designed his own 720mm wide Funn handlebars and Lapierre finish the eBike with a Easton stem and NCX suspension seatpost.
This seat post is great at taking the edge out of the back end for ultimate comfort and longer more comfortable distances in the saddle.
It doesn't just absorb the shock of the terrain but it moves back and forth with the rider for ultimate comforta'bility.
The Overvolt full suspension electric bike benefits from the new 650B / 27.5" wheel size.
This new wheel is designed with the benefits of the bigger 29" in wheel in mind, so it rolls fast and flows over bumps easier, but uses the 26" wheel characteristics for good maneuverability through tight single track areas.

Bosch Performance System
The new Lapierre HT 900 eBike also feature the latest Bosch Performance crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance. This system outputs 60Nm of torque & peaks at 500w!
It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 275% assistance on turbo mode, while Eco mode offers a more subtle 50% assistance. There are 4 levels of assistance and remember you can always turn it off completely and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Lapierre HT 900 features the Bosch 400Wh PowerPack Battery so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric bike.

Whats included?
This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialed in for optimum performance. On all suspension models, be sure to let us know your weight as we can pre adjust the suspension to the desired rider weight, giving the perfect balance and agility specifically for individuals needs. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
