Who is this bike suitable for?
The 2020 Moustache Samedi 27 Wide 2 is the base spec model in the 120mm Wide range. Offering a great bike at a fraction of the cost of it's bigger brothers. This is a good all rounder for those wishing to start eMountain Biking, suitable for most trails and tracks.

New Features
New for 2020 with a comfortable, easy to use frame geometry, Bosch Gen 4 CX motor and 500Wh PowerTube battery, we welcome the Moustache Samedi 27 Wide 2.
Moustache have equipped the Wide 2 with their newly designed Magic Grip Control shock, which features 2-position compression settings and rebound adjust.
This new shock is Trunnion mounted, which has allowed for additional air volume within the shock for improved small bump sensitivity and improved progression through the travel. The rebound damping is dynamically regulated with a high speed circuit to maintain grip on rougher terrain.
Up front the Wide 2 features the Suntour XCR 34 air fork, this has rebound adjustment and a lockout function for smoother terrain. Both front and rear suspension are adjustable to the riders weight.
The new Bosch gen 4 Performance CX motor is cleanly integrated within the hydro-formed alloy frame, which has been designed to hold the 500wh battery as close as possible to the motor, lowering the centre of gravity. The frame has also been designed to accommodate a larger 625Wh battery, with an ingenious adaptor used for the shorter and lighter 500Wh battery.
Moustache has spec'd the Wide 2 with Shimano MT400 brakes for consistent and reliable braking. These are paired with 180mm rotors for good modulation to further build confidence.
You can be sure they'll stop you as quickly as you accelerate on this eBike. Minimal maintenance and fuss. Aside from changing the brake pads from time to time you can fit & forget.
Moustache has developed their own exclusive 35mm wide rim for the Wide 2, these are fully tubeless compatible and offer an excellent tire profile for the large volume 2.8" tires.
Moustache has clearly put plenty of thought into the bikes design, with several really tidy features. The frame offers two geometries with a flip-chip, whilst the speed sensor magnet is now located on the disc brake, allowing for the sensor to be neatly tucked away on the chain stay. The dropper post is also frame size specific to better match the rider, with 100mm for small (32cm), 120mm for med (36cm) and 150mm for large and XL.
The Samedi 27 Wide 2 is is equipped with the new Sram SX Eagle 12-speed group set.
The X-HORIZON design reduces chain slap and the shifting force offering a smooth reliable setup.
You'll notice the huge 12 speed cassette which offers an incredible 11 to 50t for both up and down hill, offering a gear range of 500%.
Whilst being Srams entry level 12 speed group set, the SX Eagle delivers an excellent shifting experience with a reliable roller clutch and the ever useful Cage Lock to ease wheel removal or fitting.
Although the Wide 2 is the base model, do not be fooled by it's low price. It's kitted with 120mm travel air adjustable forks, the latest Bosch CX system and a 500Wh battery for plenty of range. Bosch CX & Purion eBike System
The new Moustache Samedi Wide 2 2020 eBike's feature the latest Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks over 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 340% assistance in turbo mode.
Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike! In addition, the new eMTB mode allows the user to set in one assistance mode and the system itself will determine the assistance offered.
The Wide 2 features the 'PowerTube' Bosch 500Wh battery technology for 2020. Completely integrated into the frame, Moustache have neatly designed it so it can be charged both on & off the bike.
The 2020 Bosch Purion display is neat & compact. Riders can see important factors like speed, distance and battery range on the screen.
What's included?
This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
