The Moustache is every bit as good as the photographs on the e-bikeshop website and is an excellent bike in its own right.
New Features
This new model in the Moustache eBike range features revised geometry to create a real fast rolling road style bike. Its chassis is a sturdy hydroformed alloy frame built to the highest standard.
When you need to slow down, the approved speed version of the Magura MT2 hydraulic disk brakes have plenty of stopping power for the task in hand.
You can't help but just look at the sheer quality and beauty these French manufacturers have created and designed. The Dimanche 28 Titanium 2014 electric bikes have a lightweight carbon fork to maximize pedal efficiency but allow a small amount of flex where needed to take the edge out of road cycling.
The gearing is of course also geared towards speed. It’s all Shimano quality components consisting of a 105 Road rear mech, 11-32 cassette and rapid fire shifters to ensure you have a huge range when it comes to selecting the gearing both up and downhill. The alloy double wall rims are very tough without compromising weight.
To grip this eBike to the road Moustache have opted for Schwalbes eBike specific Energiser tyres, designed and tested for ’Speed’ pedelecs they are approved 45 km/h, they offer low rolling resistance and a puncture guard system to limit the chances of getting those annoying punctures.
Moustache have done all of this and created an electric bike that only weighs 18.1kg! This makes it pretty much the lightest electric bike on the market with the longest range provided by the Bosch motor and battery.
The most interesting part of the Moustache Dimanche 28 Titanium eBike is that it features the Bosch ‘Speed 45’ motor. This motor is specifically built for faster riding and does not cut the power at the normal 15mph. In fact it will keep going to around 25 mph. This 350w motor is not road legal over here in the UK as the UK legislation only allows pedelecs to a maximum 250w motor.
This is the very latest technology from Bosch eBike systems, so it has the newer slimmer, sleeker battery, latest central mount crank drive motor design and the slick new 2014 Bosch head unit to display all that vital information. You can read more about the Bosch eBike system on my blog.
The Moustache Dimanche 28 Titanium 2014 eBike is actually the bigger brother to the Moustache Dimanche 28 Silver version. This eBike therefore features a better all-round spec on components but most importantly the faster Bosch ‘S’ Motor to its younger brother.
Bosch Performance System
The new Moustache Dimanche Titanium eBikes also feature the latest Bosch Performance crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The Dimanche is the only model in the range to come with the 350w S Bosch system.
This system is capable of speeds up to 45 km/h assisted. This can then also be doubled by fitting the speed tuning dongle kit.
The 350w system should not be used on UK roads. This system outputs 60Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 275% assistance on turbo mode, while Eco mode offers a more subtle 50% assistance. There are 4 levels of assistance and remember you can always turn it off completely and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer!
The Moustache Dimanche Titanium features the Bosch 400Wh PowerPack Battery so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric bike.

This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialed in for optimum performance. On all suspension models, be sure to let us know your weight as we can pre adjust the suspension to the desired rider weight, giving the perfect balance and agility specifically for individuals needs. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a Laptop, iPhone or iPad combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
