With the electrical assistance we can now travel much further a field and hills are a thing of the past. The bikes are an absolute joy to ride and have been trouble free for a thousand miles so far. New Features
A practical yet elegant trekking bike, featuring the new Gen 3 Bosch Performance motor, 500Wh PowerTube battery and a comfortable geometry. We welcome the Moustache Samedi 28.5 2020.
To smooth out the roughest of roads, Moustache have spec'd the 28.5 with the Suntour NEX-E25 fork. These offer 63mm of front suspension with a lockout feature for the smoother terrain.
The MT200 brakes offer consistent braking regardless of weather, with the usual excellent modulation delivered from Shimano's hydraulic brakes.
These brakes are ideal for building confidence with newer riders, whilst seasoned riders will also appreciate the ease of use and reliability with minimal maintenance.
You can't help but just look at the sheer quality and beauty Moustache have designed for 2020. Hand built in house by superior technicians: The level of detail is refined from this eBike manufacturer. In fact, they only make Bosch eBikes, so they really know what they're doing. The whole bike is designed to be an eBike, unlike other bikes that have been adapted.
The Samedi 28.5 features fast rolling 700c wheels and Schwalbe tyres for 2020. A large wheel rolls faster/rides easier over distance, whilst the ever so slightly wider 50c tyres offer additional comfort and grip on a mixture of surfaces from tarmac to gravel paths and bridleways.
The new Bosch gen 3 Performance motor is cleanly integrated within the hydro-formed alloy frame, which has been designed to hold the 500wh battery lower within the frame compared to previous models for a better centre of gravity. The frame has also been designed to accommodate a larger 625Wh battery if required, with an ingenious adaptor used for the shorter and lighter 500Wh battery.
The smooth welds really give the Samedi 28.5 a clean look, whilst the sturdy colour matched mudguards further add to the premium feel of the bike whilst protecting the rider.
For long days in the saddle, the comfortable Selle Royal ergonomic saddle is paired with the Moustache's own suspension seatpost, to further soak up any jolts from rough terrain.
To match the brakes, Moustache have fitted a complete Shimano Deore gear system. This new system is now on 10 speed for 2020 with a wide range 11-36t cassette.
The Moustache Samedi 28.5 is perfectly balanced in gears for descents and climbs, whilst the 40t front sprocket makes for keeping a good pace on the flats.
Be it cycling to work, that Saturday ride across the lanes or even bridleway paths and tracks, the Samedi 28.5 is ideal;
With an in-built luggage rack, light set powered directly off the Bosch battery, suspension seat post, side stand, chain guard, comfort grips, in-built mudguards, AXA wheel lock and comfy Selle Royal ergonomic saddle.
The Moustache 28.5 not only looks great due to it's smooth welding & PowerTube battery, it's practical for many riders too. Offering the ideal bike for both him/her to cycle further & cover more ground in a day, whilst maintaining the most enjoyable experience.
Bosch Performance System
The new Moustache Samedi 28.5 2020 features the latest Bosch Performance eBike system. Offering a larger sprocket upfront with no internal gearing, this motor is much quieter and features little resistance when pedalling outside of the assistance.
The system is designed to be smooth and is around 30% more compact than it's predecessor. Offering support up to 300% and peak torque levels of 65Nm. Offering smooth & strong power delivery.
For 2020 Moustache have equipped the Intuvia display, offering all the essential parameters on one easy to read display, including:- Speed, assistance mode, average, speed, range, odometer and battery bar. This display can be removed from the bike acting as a security immobiliser for the system.
The Moustache Samedi 28.5 comes with a 500Wh battery, offering a full day in the saddle with no battery range anxiety. Support is delivered in 4 different assistance modes up to 15mph.
Whats included?
This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
