The new Moustache Gold 279 FS 2014 full suspension eBike is suitable for mountain eBikers looking for that extra bit of help on the climbs. New Features..

Moustache has really gone all out on the design of their electric mountain bikes for 2014. With the success of their hard tail model previously they set out to create the ultimate full suspension electric bike. The Moustahce Samedi FS 27/9 Gold model is the top end full suspension eBike in the Moustache range. The Gold model features the very best components; the suspension consists of FOX Float CTD rear shock and a FOX Float 32 CTD front suspension fork. Both front and rear suspension on this electric bike is air adjustable to meet the rider’s weight and riding style. This model is built on 130mm travel frame geometry. The finishing gearing is provided by top end kit.

Moustache use Sram’s X01 11 speed drivetrain. This is full X01 including shifters, derralier, and cassette. This new 11 speed cassette offers a ridiculous range due to the 10-42tooth ratios. The immense stopping power comes from the Avid Elixir 7 hydraulic disk brakes on larger 180mm rotors. The Samedi (or Saturday for us Brits) is a lightweight hydro formed alloy chassis for maximum strength but is also incredibly lightweight; the whole electric bike weighs in at an incredible 20.6kg. Finished with decent wheels with Alex alloy double wall rims laced onto Shimano hubs will keep you rolling reliably with no wobbles. To grip these to the surface Moustache have opted for German manufacturer Schwalbe’s Rocket Ron performance tyres.

The Moustache Samedi FS 27/9 Gold electric bike is built with the new Performance electric bike motor from Bosch. This is the very latest technology from Bosch eBike systems, so it has the newer slimmer, sleeker battery, latest central mount crank drive motor design and the slick new 2014 Bosch head unit to display all that vital information. The Moustache Samedi FS 279 Gold 2014 eBike is actually the top of the range option above the Moustache Samedi Titanium and Silver eBikes. It’s the same frame geometry but has different components to match the price. The most interesting part of the Samedi eBike full suspension range is the fact that it is built using a 29” front wheel and a 27.5” (650B) rear wheel. This design is unique and only featured on the Moustache electric mountain bikes. It’s a clever concept that grabs the benefits of different wheel sizes and puts them all together on a truly unique eBike design. The 29” front wheel means that it can roll fast on the flat and climb better. It also allows the user to float over terrain easier as the larger wheel can glide over lager gaps. By using the 27.5” rear wheel it means that the rider has full control; creating an eBike that is easily manoeuvrable. It is so nice to be able to chuck the eBike around beneath you. On a bigger wheel bike this is sometimes not possible due to the larger more cumbersome wheels beneath you. This design actually won the Eurobike 2013 design awards. So it has some good clarification to anyone seeing the wheel size as a gimmick. It truly works! We take our hat off to the French designers for this one!..

Bosch eBike System..

The new Mosutache Samedi Gold F/S eBikes also features the latest Bosch Performance crank drive motor, so you can be sure its fitted with the latest kit and set up for optimum performance. This system outputs 60Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 275% assistance on turbo mode, while Eco mode offers a more subtle 50% assistance. There are 4 levels of assistance and remember you can always turn it off completely and ride it as a normal bike!

This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Moustache Samedi eMTB features the Bosch 400Wh PowerPack Battery so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric bike. Whats included?

This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialed in for optimum performance. On all suspension models, be sure to let us know your weight as we can pre adjust the suspension to the desired rider weight, giving the perfect balance and agility specifically for individuals needs. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service.

Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a Laptop, iPhone or iPad combined with our diagnostic equipment.

E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
