Who is this bike suitable for?
The 2018 Moustache Samedi Trail 4 is the base spec model in the 140mm Trail range. Offering a great bike at a fraction of the cost of it's bigger brothers. This is a good all rounder for those wishing to start eMountain Biking and suitable for most trails and tracks.

New Features
The hugely popular 'Hidden Power' eMTB's from Moustache in 2018 incorporate the Bosch battery in the frame, but still easily removable for charging both on or off the bike.
From drawings on paper to 3D printing to Alloy 6061 frames in reality, Moustache developed this new setup for 2 years to create the perfect solution to Bosch eBike integration.
The new Bosch CX motor is tilted and mounted in gravity castings within the Alloy frame with the perfect 'Q factor' and playful geometry for 2018.
Whilst the Bosch Performance 500Wh battery is cleverly located in the Trail 4's down tube, offering a lower centre of gravity and 'Hidden Power' seamless look over the longer Bosch 'InTube' batteries. They ride as nice as they look!..
Moustache have also updated the new 2018 Samedi frames to 27.5+. What's PLUS all about? This revelation hitting the cycling industry by storm offer a wider 3" tyre for ultimate traction, comfort & grip. Without compromising on rolling resistance.
Moustache has developed their own exclusive 35mm wide rim for the Trail 4, to take the new tyre size which is fully tubeless compatible and capable of achieving the perfect balance between stability and cornering ability.
To match the drive train Moustache have opted for Shimano hydraulic disc brakes on the Samedi Trail 4 2018 eBike.
Fully sealed with no cables and pads that last 3 times as long as a V Brake pad. Offering minimal maintenance and fuss for the rider.
Pads can be changed in a matter of seconds by use of the split pin. The handlebar lever also offers lever adjust, so this model can be suited to both riders with big and small hands.
Moustache have developed their own specific air shock with 140mm travel for the Trail 4 which offers a 2 position lockout with dynamic rebound control and their special 'Grip Control Evo' which allows for better traction at the rear. All of this is of course air adjustable to the riders preference and weight.
To cushion the front the Trail 4 comes with Suntour XCR air forks in 130mm of trail travel. These forks are also fully air adjustable to suit different rider weights and allow for maximum adjust-ability on the trail.
The Samedi Trail 4 is kitted with Shimano's SLX new 2018 11 speed drive train. Featuring many of the technologies from Shimano's top spec models. Now offering a clutch system to keep the chain true and tensioned while under load and over bigger bumps.
Combine this with a wide ratio 11-46t cassette means the Trail 4 cane ride all day long be it flying downhill or up the side of steep slopes, it's geared for all possibilities!
Moustache couple this with their optimised 14t sprocket up front for the perfect combination of descending and hill climbing capability on all the 2018 Samedi eMTB's.
Also offered up with their newly designed and reinforced cranks with a better Q factor and ultimate stiffness.
Although the Trial 4 is the base model, do not be fooled by it's low price. It's kitted with 130mm travel air adjustable forks, the latest Bosch CX system and larger 500Wh battery. When you also throw in the dropper post and 11 speed drive train, it's a big contender!
Bosch CX & Purion eBike System
The new Moustache Samedi Trail 4 2018 eBike's feature the latest Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 300% assistance in turbo mode. Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike! In addition, the new eMTB mode allows the user to set in one assistance mode and the system itself will determine the assistance offered.
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Samedi Trail 4 eMTB features the larger capacity Bosch 500Wh Battery for 2018 so it hosts the most range possible on any Bosch powered electric mountain bike.
For 2018 Moustache have equipped the new Bosch Purion display, a revised smaller dash that offers quick vision of essential parameters whilst occupying a minimal amount of cockpit space.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
