Orbea Gain D30 1X Electric Cyclocross Bike 2022

The bike arrived later than it was supposed to arrive it arrived without the valve stem securing nuts and the valve dust caps also there was a small chip on one of the forks the rear light cover was very loose and came off, when I notified customer service they were not at all helpful I was advised to send in photos to prove these faults which would have gone through the snail system, it is best to buy a bike where you can inspect it before you buy and then you know what you are getting

Firstly the service from ebike shop.co.uk has been exceptional.
The bike itself is great looking, sleek and smooth to ride. I now have 6 bikes and this is my 1st ebike. I have no issues keeping up everyone on the road with my road bike but struggled off road on my mtb. The solution was to get an electric gravel bike! I done my research and the Orbea gain came out on top. My cycle buddy has an orbea gain road bike and lives his!

Just got my 2021 model today and as it was sunny: quickly put it together, put my spd pedals on and went for a ride. And wow: super silent and smooth. And then the motor kicks in, again pretty silent and smooth: wow++. This is my first road bike in ages, my previous one had levers on the frame but hey how much different can this be? A couple of clicks on the lever and it very smoothly goes to the top gear. Hm, so how do you go to a lower gear? I've got to stop at the lights and it's a bit uphill. When the light goes green t's not a problem at all, really appreciate the motor. Wow again. Finished my little test ride in top gear, afterwards looked it up, ah move the whole thing in to go down a gear. Will give that a go tomorrow. Didn't try the app before the ride. Easily connects to the bike and now shows me how the battery is charging.
