Who is this bike suitable for?
The Orbea Wild FS H30 2021 is the entry level but very well equipped alloy frame model of the Wild FS range. This 160mm travel bike uses the latest 4th Generation Bosch Performance CX system with a 500Wh battery, newly updated eMTB mode and increased 85Nm of torque. Built for all terrain, all mountain, single track and trail riding on a fantastic geometry platform, It's tough enough for even the most technical of trails but remains light enough for cross country too, using 29" Orbea Tryp 30c wheels to offer excellent rollover even on rough terrain.
I picked up my new bike today - I’m not the easiest customer to satisfy, however the team at ebikeshop were so good at getting me set up and on my way even on late Saturday appointment. New Features
The 2021 mid spec alloy Wild FS H30 features the latest Bosch Gen 4 Performance CX motor & 500Wh battery and comes with the recent Bosch software already installed, offering a totally new eMTB mode experience and 15% more torque!
Equipped with the 2021 Fox Float DPS EVOL rear shock, the new Wild FS H30 offers 3-Way adjustable lockout and air compression with external rebound damping adjustment.
With the Dual Piston System, the rider can choose between fully locked out, fully open, or select the mid stage mode to conserve energy whilst still providing cushioning for a plush ride under pressure.
This new Fox Float shock is as you would expect, fully adjustable for rider weight and Orbea have matched it with the new RockShox 35 Gold RL DebonAir, optimised for eBikes with crown adjustable damper - a pleasant spec increase over the 2020 model!
Wild FS Geometry
Designed with both new and experienced riders in mind and updated for 2021, the frame offers comfort and stability to new riders, whilst for more experienced riders, remains a bike that doesn't hold them back regardless of terrain.
Blocklock Headset
The Blocklock headset protects the Wild FS frame by preventing the fork crown from impacting.This not only protects the carbon frame but keeps the cables safe from bar spins too.
Battery Cover
Offering a simple solution to battery integration, its also fully removable of "off-bike" charging.
Range Extender
Orbea have built the Wild FS H30 with "all day epics" in mind and offers an optional second battery to be fitted for optimum range.
This range extender feature allows the rider up to a maximum capacity of 1000Wh.

Hydroformed Alloy Frame
Carrying over from 2020 model, the Wild FS H30 features a unique Hydroformed alloy frame. The frame set has some clever design choices, arriving with bottle cage mounting as standard, and the option for a dual battery configuration right from the factory or from e-Bikeshop as an add-on item, allowing for a total capacity of 1125Wh! This light, super smooth frame with full internal cable routing makes the 2021 Wild FS a real head turner on the trails!
The Orbea Wild FS H30 2021 grips the trail once again with the 2.60" Minion tyres from Maxxis. These tubeless ready tires feature the 3C MaxxTerra compound, offering excellent traction but with an improved wear rate over the 3C MaxxGrip compound.
The 29" wheels provide an excellent rolling speed over rough terrain, while the modern geometry make sure the H30 stays nimble even in the most technical sections.
Orbea have once again given the H30 their very own Orbea Tryp 30c tubeless ready wheels. These 30mm wide rims offer excellent rigidity and the option for wide range of tyre choice.
A now standard feature on the higher specification Rockshox suspension, the 35 Gold RL DebonAir fork progression can still be fine tuned using volume spacers for a wider range of customisation for rider weight and desired performance.
The 2021 Wild FS ships with the new Shimano MT420 hydraulic disc brakes, which have been developed with eMTB in mind. These four piston brakes offer strong braking performance at a "Deore" series price point.
Sharing the same non-finned version of pads found in the Saint and Zee series calipers, the BR-M420 has plenty of pad compound choices available to suit all riders and conditions.
The brake levers also offer the same ergonomic lever design found on most Shimano brakes, offering easy reach adjustment with just a few turns of an allen key.
With the Shimano BR-M420, you can be confident in stopping as quickly as you can accelerate with minimal maintenance. Aside from an occasional pad change, these brakes are very much "fit and forget".
Orbea has tweaked the Wild FS H30 to ensure its thoroughly competitive and up to date for 2021. With an increase in suspension specification over 2020, a brand new eMTB mode from Bosch and 500Wh battery, its everything most riders could ever need.
Also retained from the 2020 design are the "bump stops" in the headset and on the downtube, really showcasing the attention to detail the R&D team have taken while designing the Wild FS models. These bump stops allow for huge 164 degrees of fork movement, while also helping to prevent damage to the frame in the event of a crash. Maximum steering movement, with total peace of mind.
The Orbea Wild FS H20 2021 features the Shimano XT M8120 12-Speed Derailleur, a Deore M6100 i-Spec EV shifter and a Sunrace E-bike specific cassette for maximum durability.
This combination between XT and Deore components complement each other in weight saving and price to create a super reliable group-set.
At the rear, a wide range 11-51t cassette ensures theres nothing you wont be able to climb, while retaining an impressive top speed.
Finishing the rearward equipment is the Shimano ShadowPlus derailleur to ensure a stable drive train even on the roughest terrain while offering precise and quiet shifting.

Bosch CX & Purion eBike System
The new Orbea Wild FS H30 2021 eBike features the latest Gen 4 Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit & setup for optimum performance.
With its latest update, the 250w CX system outputs 85Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 340% assistance in turbo mode. Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike! In addition, the new eMTB mode allows the user to set in one assistance mode and the system itself will determine the assistance offered.
The Wild H30 features the 'PowerTube' Bosch 500Wh battery for 2021. Completely integrated into the frame, Orbea have neatly designed it so it can be charged both on & off the bike. The frame has been designed to also accommodate the larger 625Wh battery.
The 2021 Bosch Purion display is neat & compact. Riders can see important factors like speed, distance and battery range on the screen.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
