Who is this bike suitable for?
New for 2016 the Scott E-Genius Plus range of eBikes. These are special because they offer the new wider tyre to bridge the gap between trail bikes and fat bikes! The E-Genius 710 Plus is great for Single Track / All Mountain / Trail Center riding.
The Scott eGenius plus are capable emtbs. Providing perfect grip yet being agile enough to throw it around when needed. The plus size combined with CX drive and the 500wh battery are a match made in heaven.
New Features
The brand new E-Genius 710 Plus with 27.5+ tyres, revised chassis, Bosch Performance CX motor & 500Wh battery!
Scott have collaborated with FOX suspension to offer a new lightweight 'Custom-tuned' rear shock to work in harmony with the full suspension frame design and geometry.
This new FOX shock is goes by the name of the - Nude. With custom Scott rebound damping and traction control.
Interestingly, Scott also allow the user 2 stages for the shock to operate. The quick chip on the rear linkage can be flipped to the riders liking, offering a low & high BB setting depending on the terrain - offering full control on the 2016 Scott electric bikes.
The E-Genius 710 Plus 2016 is offered with Shimano's new 11 speed drivetrain. The XT setup offers a huge range of gearing from 11 to 42 teeth. So you have excellent ratios for both climbing and flying back down the trails.
The Shimano SLX disc brakes offer similar characteristics to the XT style brakes with servo action levers and larger callipers to offer good levels of braking and disperse heat efficiently.
PLUS. What's this all about? The new revelation hitting the cycling industry by storm is the 27.5+ tyres. These bridge the gap between regular MTB's and Fat Bikes to offer a wider 3" tyre for ultimate traction and grip, without compromising on rolling resistance.
For 2016 the wheels are built using a Shimano Zee rear and Formula front hub. These are laced onto strong yet lightweight Syncros X23 alloy disc specific rims.
Scott have opted for the famous German Schwalbe Nobby Nic Evo tyres for a fast rolling trail pace with low rolling resistance and tight grip. Perfect for UK trail centers. The Evo line are dual density and these offer the resilient 'snake skin' side wall.
Don't forget these are extra wide and suck up a lot more of the bumps. Also due to the wider tyre and dual compound construction, these tyres offer superior levels of grip over standard width tyres without compromising rolling resistance.
Scott have specified the new 2016 FOX 34 Float 140mm travel forks on the E-Genius 710, with thicker stanchions perfect for less flex on bigger hits.
The forks are completely air adjustable and offer the famous CTD (Climb, Trail & Descent) modes for superior trail adjustment.
This adjustment is normally adjusted down on the forks / shock itself, but Scott have an exclusive remote TwinLoc lever design mounted up on the handlebars.
For 2016 the 710 comes as standard with the new XT 11 speed, Fox suspension and even a internal RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper post meaning minimal alterations, the E-Genius 710 is ready to ride out of the box. Thought about a fat electric bike?

Bosch CX & Intuvia eBike System
The new Scott E-Genius 710 eBike also features the latest Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The new 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 300% assistance on turbo mode.
Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The E-Genius 710 Plus features the brand new Bosch 500Wh PowerPack Battery for 2016 so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric mountain bike.

This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
