Who is this bike suitable for?
New for 2017 the Scott E-Genius Plus range of eBikes now comes in 4 variants. These are special because they offer the new wider 3" tyre for ultimate traction, grip, comfort and control! The E-Genius 730 Plus is great for Single Track / All Mountain / Trail Center riding.
The Scott eGenius plus are capable emtbs. Providing perfect grip yet being agile enough to throw it around when needed. The plus size combined with CX drive and the 500wh battery are a match made in heaven.
New Features
The brand new E-Genius 730 Plus with 27.5+ tyres, Bosch Performance CX motor, Intuvia display & 500Wh battery!
For 2017 the E-Genius 730 is offered up with a new X-Fusion Nude custom rear shock. This shock has custom tuned rebound and damping settings to compliment the bike.
Both front and rear shock is air adjustable for the riders weight and has the 3 stages of lockout adjustment.
Interestingly, Scott also allow the user 2 stages for the shock to operate. The quick chip on the rear linkage can be flipped to the riders liking, offering a low & high BB setting depending on the terrain - offering full control on the 2017 Scott electric bikes.
Now with the new Shimano SLX 10 speed drive train, the 2017 SLX mech is crisper, easier to shift & lighter than ever before.
The Shimano Deore disc brakes offer similar characteristics to the SLX style brakes with servo action levers and larger calipers to offer good levels of braking and disperse heat efficiently.
PLUS. What's this all about? The new revelation hitting the cycling industry by storm is the 27.5+ tyres. These bridge the gap between regular MTB's and Fat Bikes to offer a wider 2.8" tyre for ultimate traction and grip, without compromising on rolling resistance.
For 2017 the wheels are built using Shimano front & rear hubs. These are laced onto strong yet lightweight Syncros X40 40mm wide 27.5+ alloy disc specific rims.
The E-Genius 730 Plus is offered up with a combination of Maxxis Minion tyre up front and a Rekon tyre at the rear. The wider 2.8" offering decent grip levels for cornering on the front wheel, while maintaining a fast rolling rear to keep you tight through the trails.
Don't forget these are extra wide and suck up a lot more of the bumps. Also due to the wider tyre and dual compound construction, these tyres offer superior levels of grip over standard width tyres without compromising rolling resistance.
Up front we see the RockShox Sektor RL forks with 140mm of travel for all round trail use, these are of course fully air adjustable with rebound and damping controls also.
This adjustment is normally adjusted down on the forks / shock itself, but Scott have an exclusive remote TwinLoc lever design mounted up on the handlebars.
Now the E-Genius is even better than before for 2017 with a built in internal stealth Syncros Dropper seat for on the fly adjustments while maintaining the clean overall looks.
The Scott E-Genius 730 Plus is a new model for 2017, offering the geometry and tech of it's bigger brothers at a price that's easier on the pocket. Want the same setup but with better all round specification? Check out the 720, 710 or even the top spec 700 Plus Tuned!
Bosch CX & Untuvia eBike System
The new Scott E-Genius 730 eBike features the latest Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The new 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 300% assistance in turbo mode.
Featuring 4 levels of assistance and you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The E-Genius 730 Plus features the brand new Bosch 500Wh PowerPack Battery for 2017 so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric mountain bike.

Whats included?
This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
