Who is this bike suitable for?
The Scott Sub Tour E-Ride 20 2019 is suitable for both leisure riders and commuters. A fully equipped hybrid bike built for both tarmac roads, paths tracks and trails. Be it a leisurely ride on a Sunday afternoon or a busy 9-5 commute during the week.
There are so many different ways to use the power settings so as to get a good workout. People routinely say things like " it's cheating" ! Well they couldn't be more wrong, I cycle about 70 miles a week which I really wouldn't be doing otherwise so I am much fitter than I was; but most of all it is just plain FUN. So my advice is get one and enjoy yourself.
New Features
The Scott Sub Tour E-Ride 20 2019 is built on Bosch's new Active Line Plus system for faster rolling speed & minimal resistance off power.
Offered in both crossbar and Unisex variants with the battery positioned centrally on the open Unisex model.
For 2019 Scott have equipped full Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes & a Shimano Alivio 9 speed drive train to match.
These Shimano hydraulic disc brakes to ensure the descents come to a stop where needed, with good braking performance and minimal maintenance.
These are faster rolling and offer superior amounts of grip due a 50c wider profile. Scott has really kitted out with everything you could need on the Sub Tour 20 2019, for your commute or leisurely ride.
This includes essentials like a comfy saddle, integrated lighting system front and rear which are built into the Bosch eBike system with light activation switch.
The Sub Tour 20 also offers full length mudguards, built in rear lock assembly and chain guard. A handy, sturdy & retractable kickstand, and luggage pannier rack on the rear.

Bosch Active Plus & Purion eBike System
The new Scott Sub Tour E-Ride 20 2019 eBikes features the new Active Line Plus motor from Bosch. Offering a standard sized sprocket on the outside and no longer internally geared it's rolling resistance outside of power zones is greatly reduced.
It's also powerful, yet agile. As the Active system is designed to deliver moderate power only where needed (hills) it's very conservative and thus the battery range is also increased too.
The system is designed to be smooth and is around 30% more compact than the previous Active line. Offering support up to 270% and peak torque levels of 50Nm this system offers smooth and punchier power delivery both around town and on longer rides alike.
For 2019 Scott have equipped the new Bosch Purion display, a revised smaller dash that offers quick vision of essential parameters whilst occupying a minimal amount of cockpit space.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
