The new Tern Vektron might just be the most versatile Bosch eBike on the market. Looking for portability and a efficient German assisted eBike? The Tern Vektron does just that.
The Vektron offers a unique approach to frame design. With a telescopic seat post and adjustable angle stem, it can accommodate riders from 4ft 10 to 6ft 5. A bike that suits all.
Although compact the wheel base is that of a regular bicycle, the handlebar, fork and overall geometry give for a nice smooth and comfortable ride whilst maintaining the practicalities of being able to pack this electric bike away.
Couple the above with well spec'd components, it brings an overall great bike for a mixture of uses & riding styles.
Tern is well know for their reputable folding bikes. Now for the first time ever they join forces with German manufacturer- Bosch. Bringing a unique approach to the modern rider. As you pedal the system assists and responds to the terrain and hills as you ride.

In 3 simple steps - The handlebars fold down, the frame folds in half and the seat can be retracted to fit this electric bike into even the smallest of places with ease.
The Tern folds from a complete bike down to folded format in under 10 seconds. This is due to the patented folding mechanism, which naturally folds as you release the catches.

Components
The Tern Vektron offers all those rider essentials including a comfort gel saddle, adjustable handlebars, comfort grips and adjustable seat post.
On top of this, the Vektron comes fully equipped with mudguards, pannier rack & side stand.
Tern have developed a fully built in LED lighting system front and rear. Completely powered off the Bosch system, itself. No bulbs, no batteries & they cannot be pinched off the bike.
We see Shimano hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, allowing a use friendly, low maintenance experience whilst having the true braking power disc brakes bring.
The front chain ring and chain is covered by Tern's unique chain guard, keeping you, the rider, clean in all conditions. As both the Bosch motor and battery are mounted in the centre of the bike, it makes for an even weight distribution between the wheels whilst keeping the centre of gravity low, for a nimble and responsive ride.
Gearing on the Tern is provided by Shimano's Deore 10 speed drive train, for simple shifting both up and down hill.
Operated using a dual action trigger shifter on the handlebars and shadow rear mech that keeps the chain taught even over bumpier terrain.
The alloy double wall rims offer a strong and lightweight solution for smaller 20" wheels. Laced onto Shimano quick release hubs, making wheel removal a breeze.
The Tern Vektron is grips with decent Schwalbe Big Apple tyres which are designed for maximum grip whilst keeping rolling resistance to a low.
More importantly they include the kevlar lining protection to prevent annoying punctures.
The Big Apple's are also designed to absorb the riding surface, giving a more comfortable overall feel for the rider.
All in all, the new Tern Vektron electric folding bike ticks the boxes for those looking for a nice ride and neat solution to travel and storage. A nice simple, but good quality electric bike, suitable for a mixture of riding styles and rider heights.
Bosch Active Line System
The new Tern Vektron folding eBike features the latest Bosch Active crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
This system outputs 48Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it also offers up to 225% assistance on turbo mode, while Eco mode offers a more subtle 50% assistance. There are 4 levels of assistance and remember you can always turn it off completely and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Tern Vektron also features the Bosch 300Wh PowerPack Battery, enough capacity for a long ride, yet light enough to keep the overall weight down.
Tern have equipped the new Bosch Purion display, a revised smaller dash that offers quick vision of essential parameters whilst occupying a minimal amount of cockpit space.

This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
