New Features
The 2017 7 speed is based on our standard Motus, with one thing different - The gearing. It’s also the first time Raleigh UK have teamed up with the German manufacturers Bosch.
This Motus model features a 7 speed gear system, provided by Shimano, this neat 7 Speed Internal Nexus gear hub offers silky smooth shifting while maintaining a completely straight chain line.
It works in harmony with the Bosch eBike drive system and offers a reliable maintenance free solution. The Raleigh Motus comes fully equipped with all the practical functions you would expect.
The brakes are again German, they are Magura HS11 hydraulic rim brakes, which offer minimal maintenance and fuss but don't add huge amounts of weight to the eBike providing plenty of stopping power.
Raleigh have used alloy double wall rims for superior strength and minimal weight.
We also feature decent hubs from Shimano of which the front is Shimano’s very own self sufficient dynamo hub to power the lights.
To glide you over some of the bumpier roads / terrain are Suntours front suspension fork with 63mm of travel and a lock out function.
Also the comfort saddle is supported with a suspension seat post to take the edge of harsher bumps through the back end. A really well thought out electric bike.. Well done Raleigh on this British design!
Bosch Active Line System
The new Raleigh Motus 7 Speed 2017 eBikes also feature the latest Bosch Active crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
This system outputs 48Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it also offers up to 225% assistance on turbo mode, while Eco mode offers a more subtle 50% assistance. There are 4 levels of assistance and remember you can always turn it off completely and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Raleigh Motus electric bike features the Bosch 400Wh PowerPack Battery so it hosts a full day's ride on this Bosch powered eBike.

This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
