The Haibike FatSix is really designed for snow, deep mud or even sand. But do we get much of this in the UK? No - Not really! Why would I want a fattie? Because its the coolest thing going! Be it riding for what its designed for, or rolling up to the pub, be sure to get everyone looking at the brand new 2015 fat eBike from Haibike.
Warningā¦This bike is mahoossive fun! It just gobbles up anything you point it at and turns heads anywhere you go.It is surprisingly light/nimble, rolls really well on tarmac and is awesome on really soft stuff. The frame,graphics and components are spot on as you would expect from Haibike and Bosch. The bike arrived nicely packed, safe and secure in its box, Martin and the team were great and the after sale care is superbā¦ Thanks guys!
New Features
The Haibike FatSix is a brand new eBike within the Haibike range for 2015, so its packed full of new features & decent specc'd components from the lightweight, durable Shimano XT 10 speed drivetrain with clutch rear mech.
To the brand new Rock Shox Bluto forks which are specifically designed with fat bikes in mind. Offering superior adjustability and a wide enough bridge for the super wide tyres to roll through.
These forks offer 100mm of travel, they are air adjustable and even have a remote lockout operated from the handlebars for conserving valuable energy on the climbs.
Haibike have matched the brakes perfectly with the gear system, again using full Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes to ensure that fat bikes comes to a stop quickly. These brakes require minimum maintenance and keep the overall weight of the bike down.
Haibike have joined forces with German tyre manufacturer Schwalbe. These new Jumbo Jim tyres are 4 inches wide and offer a large tread pattern to ensure maximum grip. They are made with the famous 'Snake Skin' sidewall to resist any snags and are fairly puncture resistant which is always a plus point.
These tyres are just as light as similar all mountain regular tyres, which is surprising considering the amount of rubber used. Designed specifically for fat bikes.
We are really pleased that Haibike have come up with this bike. Fat bikes have been around for a while now, although they perform a simple task for riders that are putting them through their paces in sand, dirt, snow etc. They are also popular with Brits for rolling about on, however the larger tyres often pick up more resistance than a standard bike.
They can be quite hard to use in a practical sense. But to combine this style of bike with a Bosch Performance motor makes perfect sense. It offers an assisted bike that has superior amounts of grip at whatever you throw at it, but is not hard to ride around. Say hello to the all new generation of Fat eBikes!
Bosch Nyon eBike System
The new Haibike xDuro FatSix 2015 eBike also features the latest Bosch Performance crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance. This system outputs 60Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 275% assistance on turbo mode, while Eco mode offers a more subtle 50% assistance. There are 4 levels of assistance and remember you can always turn it off completely and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Haibike Fat Six features the Bosch 400Wh PowerPack Battery so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric bike.
New for 2015 the xDuro FatSix utilizes the brand new NYON system from Bosch. The LCD multifunctional display on this eBike is like no other! All the normal cycle computer functions but with built in GPS navigation, full multimedia support and Bluetooth integration with your phone for live text message and call alerts. What's more the system can be used as a full fitness suite with connection to your PC.

Whats included?
This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialed in for optimum performance. On all suspension models, be sure to let us know your weight as we can pre adjust the suspension to the desired rider weight, giving the perfect balance and agility specifically for individuals needs. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
