Who is this bike suitable for?
The Haibike xDuro Trekking 4.0 is a new model for 2017 featuring a wider 27.5" tyre for mixed terrain. This all round electric bike is designed as a hybrid bike that will work both on and off road, ideal for commuting and leisure riding, but with 27.5" wheels will be a little more versatile across tracks and light off road too. Now equipped as a trekking model with mudguards, lights and a rack, perfect!
I absolutely love my commute to work.(Road and track). The bike feels robust and thus gives me the confidence to put it through it's paces off road having tackled some tricky rides. It is also quick and manoeuvrable in traffic and the lights are extremely effective for returning home from the pub at night. New Features
Haibike have created the xDuro Trekking 4.0 to be an all rounder for 2017, the new revised geometry, 27.5" wheels and wider tyre make it a truly versatile cross hybrid electric bike.
The new smaller wheels with broader tyres are designed to roll well and offer a bit more grip across mixed terrain over your traditional 700c wheel setup with narrower tyres.
Haibike have equipped this new Trekking 4.0 electric bike with Magura MT4 hydraulic disc brakes as they are both lightweight and strong stoppers. Ideal for conventional riders looking for good stopping power with minimal maintenance.
The Haibike xDuro Trekking 4.0 uses 27.5" (650B) wheels, so optimise the benefits of both 26" & 29" and combine them into one fast rolling, easy to manoeuvre wheel size. Matched up with Schwalbe Super Moto-X Tyres they give the Trekking 4.0 a comfortable feel as the broader tyre absorbs the terrain better & allows for more grip also off road whilst maintaining a fast rolling resistance on the road.
The 2017 xDuro Trekking eBike is equipped with Shimano's new 11 speed drive train. The 2017 XT setup offers a huge range of gearing from 11 to 42 teeth at the rear.
This offers excellent ratios for both climbing & picking up speed on long flat areas. Couple this with Shimano SLX's new rapid fire 11 speed shifter, the gearing is both responsive and crisp, just what the doctor ordered!
Haibike have finished the xDuro Trekking 4.0 eBike with sealed through axle XLC Evo disc hubs laced onto strong and lightweight Rodi alloy double wall rims.
This 2017 Trekking eBike is equipped with all the essentials including front and rear lights (Powered off the Bosch eBike system itself), mudguards, a rear rack and side stand.
The front forks also feature a lockout so the rider can switch between locked and open when changing terrain surfaces.
This new 27.5" Trekking electric bike is one of the most versatile do-it-all applications. It's based on similar components as the Cross 4.0 2017, but with up-rated components, inc built in lights, front / rear mudguards and an integrated pannier rack.
Bosch CX & Intuvia eBike System
The new Haibike xDuro Trekking 4.0 2017 eBike also features the latest Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The new 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 300% assistance on turbo mode.
Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Haibike Trekking 4.0 features the brand new Bosch 500Wh PowerPack Battery for 2017 so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric mountain bike.

What's included?
This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
