Who is this bike suitable for?
This tandem eBike from Moustache is designed for those who like to ride together! The actual bike is very special in that it can be used as an off road mountain tandem eBike. But also can be easily converted into a touring tandem, by changing the tyres and adding a rack / mudguards. This makes the new Moustache Samedi Tandem electric bike fully versatile in it's application.
The Moustache is every bit as good as the photographs on the e-bikeshop website and is an excellent bike in its own right.
New Features
Moustache went to the drawing board for 2020 to expand their range and offer a bike for everyone. One thing in particular was missing - A Bosch powered tandem electric bike.
There's a few challenges when making a tandem, however Moustache have managed to overcome everything to bring a truly spectacular machine to market.
Moustache have cleverly integrated the motor at the rear and made an exclusive chain ring setup which means the riders front and rear cranks are always synchronised.
Moustache then mounted 2 x 500Wh batteries in the frame to allow for a longer range with 2 riders on board. Boasting an impressive 1000Wh of capacity!
Moustache have fitted a wider 3" tyre for ultimate traction, comfort & grip on the eTandem. Without compromising on rolling resistance. A nice fluent ride across all terrain, the 27.5+ size is a big hit for 2020.
Moustache have actually developed their own exclusive 35mm wide rim to take the new tyre size which is fully tubeless compatible and capable of achieving the perfect balance between stability and cornering ability for this special Tandem electric bike.
The stoppers on the Moustache Tandem are provided by Magura's new MT5 4 piston hydraulic disc brakes.
The new 2 finger lever offers good control for the front tandem rider.
The new Carbontecture construction brings the overall weight down while maintaining optimal braking performance.
Built on larger 200mm disc rotors to make sure this tandem can stop as fast as it accelerates with 2 riders on board.
Minimal maintenance and fuss. Aside from changing the brake pads from time to time you can fit and forget, just concentrate on the ride!
The suspension is provided by all 140mm of the RockShox Yari forks travel. With adjustable lockout and air pressure.
At the rear of the 2020 Bosch tandem the second rider get's a Suntour NCX post which absorbs the back end and an adjustable stem for ultimate comfort. Moustache have managed to do all of this (including 2 batteries) and keep the weight sub 30kg!
The 2020 Bosch Tandem eBike is equipped with Shimano's new 11 speed drive train. The XT setup offers a huge range of gearing from 11 to 42 teeth at the rear.
This offers excellent ratios for both climbing & picking up speed on long flat areas. The gearing is both responsive and crisp, perfect for any tandem, two up!
Moustache couple this with their optimised 14t sprocket up front for the perfect combination of descending and hill climbing capability on all the 2020 tandem eBike.
Also offered up with their newly designed and reinforced cranks with a custom sprocket setup meaning the riders pedalling stays in sync 100% of the time.

Bosch CX & Kiox eBike System
The new Moustache Samedi Tandem 2020 eBike also features the latest Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The new 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 300% assistance on turbo mode. Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Samedi Tandem eBike features the new Dual Battery technology from Bosch. Offering 2 x 500Wh PowerPack Battery in tandem for double the range! Hosting the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric tandem bike.
The 2020 Bosch Kiox display is neat & compact with a super crisp resolution LCD display screen. The Bosch Kiox display offers all the rider credentials in a neat and easy to read user interface. Riders can see important factors like speed, distance and battery range on the screen.
What's included?
This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
