Lapierre eCrosshill 5.2 Electric Gravel Bike 2022!
Only had the bike a short time, ridden about 53 miles and 3100 feet climbing and still have 55% battery left! It’s a fantastic bike and is helping me get back out and get some fitness back.
I’ve adjusted the settings and they now sit fairly low with just enough power to make the biggest hills more bearable! This system makes going up hills easier but you still have to work hard so don’t expect the bike to do it for you!
All in all it’s a great bike and would recommend it to a beginner or experienced riders!
I called up and told the gentleman what I need a bike for, the tracks and routes I would be travelling and many other picky details and he narrowed it down to this bike, a brilliant suggestion and a brilliant bike, couldn’t be happier!
I've now done 3 short rides totaling about 40 miles, so far I'm very pleased with the bike, apart form the colour! it's darker and browner than it looks in the pictures, I can't imagine how much wine had been consumed before the board meeting that signed it off.
For those that have not ridden this system before, you will still need to put the effort in, it's not a free ride and it seems to work best at a certain cadence range which takes a bit of learning if you tended to pedal slower in a taller gear previously.
