A fantastic bike shop. Everything you could need in a bike shop, assisted brilliantly with a new e-road bike purchase, bike in stock and super quick delivery, helpful advice with setting the bike up and a small warranty claim needed within the first year. All round great service, very quick response by email, very knowledgeable and friendly.

WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND - KELLY

As good as I wanted

As good as I wanted . Goes really well , comfortable and well equipped .
Range seems optimistic but I have been using it during low temperatures .
Perhaps range will improve in the warmer weather .
Bike is heavy to lift and handle , but once underway is a transformed.
Sadly this bike is a bit of a game changer , I'm not sure when my old non e-hybrid and roadbike will next get used .

Bought my Scott Sub Tour in December 2019 after

Bought my Scott Sub Tour in December 2019 after too much deliberation.
I love the bike , hills are a breeze and it’s very smooth on the road.
The integrated lights are excellent and there is plenty of range in the gears. Brakes are superb.
The saddle or what sits on it is taking some getting used to.
Some may like the Puritan control for its simplicity but personally I would upgrade that component.
Overall a great bike which is a sheer joy to ride.

Im 70 and not that easy to please but

Im 70 and not that easy to please but I have to say the sales experience I received was first class.
Martin carefully matched my needs with the Scott E- Sub Active perfectly and I have thoroughly enjoyed this fantastic bike even in these cold February days.
When I wanted after sales help regarding a handlebar upgrade ( I needed more bend due to wrist issues) the response was fast friendly and efficient.
A great company to deal with, well worth the time travelling passed lesser dealers to get too.

I bought a Scott active line electric bike in

I bought a Scott active line electric bike in 2015 and still it is the best thing I have ever owned. I am 67 and ride it every day I can, and more and more avoid using my car. There are so many different ways to use the power settings so as to get a good workout. People routinely say things like " it's cheating" ! Well they couldn't be more wrong, I cycle about 70 miles a week which I really wouldn't be doing otherwise so I am much fitter than I was; but most of all it is just plain FUN. So my advice is get one and enjoy yourself.

bike for the first time I would advise going

Martin at e-bike shop is knowledgeable and very helpful. If you are purchasing an e-bike for the first time I would advise going to a specialist e-bike shop. I'm very impressed with the Scott bike and Bosch system. Although only recently purchased the bike, I have not found any problems. I would recommend the Scott e-bike without any reservations.

The only complaint I have is about the the Scott info/manual (common to may manufacturers) which is not exactly user friendly! Why manufacturers a cannot supply an English version to the UK rather than a multi language version I do not know. It would save printing costs etc. A complete easy to read English PDF version would be OK. The company I worked for printed their information in the 4 major European languages right from the start.
