More speed, less resistance..

The Scott Sub Tour E-Ride 20 2021 is built on Bosch's new Generation 3 Performance line system for faster rolling speed & minimal resistance off power. With its 500Wh battery, you can comfortably cover much longer rides with upto 300% assistance.

Brakes & Gears

For 2022 Scott have equipped Shimano hydraulic disc brakes & a Shimano Alivio 9 speed drive train to match.

These Shimano hydraulic disc brakes to ensure the descents come to a stop where needed, with good braking performance and minimal maintenance.

Aside from keeping it clean and oiling the chain from time to time, there's not actually that much else too it!

To match the brakes Scott have equipped the Sub Tour 20 with a new Shimano Alivio drivetrain. Offered in 9-speed, with gear ratios ranging from 11 to 36t it's a great all-rounder.

Scott has really kitted out with everything you could need on the Sub Tour 20 2021, for your commute or leisurely ride. This includes essentials like a comfy saddle, integrated lighting system front and rear which are built into the Bosch eBike system by use of the light activation switch.

Shimano BR-M200 hydraulic brakes offer strong and reliable braking, regardless of weather.

Shimano Alivio 9 speed gearing offers a hill beating 11-36t ratio range. Great for leisure, commuting and light touring

Shimano M3100 9 speed shifters are smooth and reliable, offering quick gear changes with just a flick of a finger.

Wheels & Tyres

Scott have built the Sub Tour E-Ride 20 2021 on decent Shimano hubs, these are laced onto strong, yet lightweight double wall alloy trekking rims.

To keep this bike rolling fast, Scott have offered this eBike with a German tyre - Schwalbe Energizer Plus. These are faster rolling and offer superior amounts of grip due a 50c wider profile.

Power

New Bosch Performance System

The Scott Sub Tour E-Ride 20 2021 features the latest Bosch Performance eBike system. Offering a larger sprocket upfront with no internal gearing, this motor is much quieter and features little resistance when pedalling outside of the assistance.

The system is designed to be smooth & is around 30% more compact than it's predecessor. Offering support up to 275% & peak torque levels of 65Nm this system offers smooth & strong power delivery.

For 2021 Scott have equipped the Bosch Purion display, a revised smaller dash that offers quick vision of essential parameters whilst occupying a minimal amount of cockpit space.

The new Scott Sub Tour E-Ride 20 2021 is offered with the latest 500Wh Bosch eBike battery built within the frame. Offering a full day in the saddle with no battery range anxiety. Support is delivered in different assistance modes up to 15mph.

Bosch Kiox 300 display

The Bosch Purion display is effortlessly simple to use and offers the rider "at-a-glance" speed, power mode and battery information.

Bosch eBike LED Remote

The Bosch Performance Line 65Nm motor is most commonly found on top end leisure and trekking bikes and makes hills a breeze.

Bosch PowerTube 750Wh battery

The Bosch PowerTube 625Wh battery neatly fits inside the frame. One of the most popular choices for riders looking to do longer days in the saddle, its easily removed to charge off the bike where needed.

A fantastic bike shop. Everything you could need in a bike shop, assisted brilliantly with a new e-road bike purchase, bike in stock and super quick delivery, helpful advice with setting the bike up and a small warranty claim needed within the first year. All round great service, very quick response by email, very knowledgeable and friendly.

WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND - KELLY

As good as I wanted

As good as I wanted . Goes really well , comfortable and well equipped .
Range seems optimistic but I have been using it during low temperatures .
Perhaps range will improve in the warmer weather .
Bike is heavy to lift and handle , but once underway is a transformed.
Sadly this bike is a bit of a game changer , I'm not sure when my old non e-hybrid and roadbike will next get used .

Bought my Scott Sub Tour in December 2019 after

Bought my Scott Sub Tour in December 2019 after too much deliberation.
I love the bike , hills are a breeze and itā€™s very smooth on the road.
The integrated lights are excellent and there is plenty of range in the gears. Brakes are superb.
The saddle or what sits on it is taking some getting used to.
Some may like the Puritan control for its simplicity but personally I would upgrade that component.
Overall a great bike which is a sheer joy to ride.

Im 70 and not that easy to please but

Im 70 and not that easy to please but I have to say the sales experience I received was first class.
Martin carefully matched my needs with the Scott E- Sub Active perfectly and I have thoroughly enjoyed this fantastic bike even in these cold February days.
When I wanted after sales help regarding a handlebar upgrade ( I needed more bend due to wrist issues) the response was fast friendly and efficient.
A great company to deal with, well worth the time travelling passed lesser dealers to get too.

I bought a Scott active line electric bike in

I bought a Scott active line electric bike in 2015 and still it is the best thing I have ever owned. I am 67 and ride it every day I can, and more and more avoid using my car. There are so many different ways to use the power settings so as to get a good workout. People routinely say things like " it's cheating" ! Well they couldn't be more wrong, I cycle about 70 miles a week which I really wouldn't be doing otherwise so I am much fitter than I was; but most of all it is just plain FUN. So my advice is get one and enjoy yourself.

bike for the first time I would advise going

Martin at e-bike shop is knowledgeable and very helpful. If you are purchasing an e-bike for the first time I would advise going to a specialist e-bike shop. I'm very impressed with the Scott bike and Bosch system. Although only recently purchased the bike, I have not found any problems. I would recommend the Scott e-bike without any reservations.

The only complaint I have is about the the Scott info/manual (common to may manufacturers) which is not exactly user friendly! Why manufacturers a cannot supply an English version to the UK rather than a multi language version I do not know. It would save printing costs etc. A complete easy to read English PDF version would be OK. The company I worked for printed their information in the 4 major European languages right from the start.
