Description
The Maxxis Dissector returns with a host of upgrades that improve performance across the board. Most notably, the side knobs have been completely redesigned with a larger footprint and reworked sipes, boosting stability and predictability in corners- especially on hard terrain. The new shape resists deflection under load, increasing both durability and control. Side knob engagement is also quicker, giving riders a more confident, planted feel in turns. The centre tread retains the familiar 2-3-2 layout, but the centre 3 has been split into individual knobs for improved braking traction and better terrain conformity. Transition knobs have been pushed outward, creating a smoother, more consistent feel as the tyre leans over. Like the side knobs, the centre tread also benefits from revised sipes for enhanced grip and longevity. These updates make the Dissector an even more versatile option for short- to mid-travel trail bikes. It excels as a front tyre on bikes with 130/140mm of travel, especially when paired with a fast-rolling rear like the Forekaster or Rekon. On longer travel bikes (150mm+), it serves as a fast, confident rear tyre in dry conditions.

New 3C MaxxTerra
The next generation of MaxxTerra performance and durability is here! Maxxis did the work in the lab, so you can put the new MaxxTerra to work on the trail. Thanks to an all-new rubber formulation, New MaxxTerra delivers breakthrough levels of durability and increases traction across conditions, all while giving up nothing to rolling efficiency. The New MaxxTerra equals more laps, more adventures, and more fun. 30% increase in durability/longevity. 15% increase in traction. No loss in rolling efficiency.
DoubleDown / DD
DoubleDown (DD) is the next step in the evolution of the dual-ply tyre casing for enduro racing. Two 120 TPI casing layers reinforced with a butyl insert provide the enduro racer with the support and protection of a downhill tyre, but in a lighter package
Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tyres provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tyre; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube. Liquid sealants should only be used in the following types of tyres: Tubeless Road, Tubular, and Tubeless Ready. The use of liquid sealants in any other Maxxis tyre will void the warranty
