Orbea Rallon RS Electric Bikes
The new Orbea Rallon RS electric bike represents a huge leap forward in electric enduro design with an emphasis on descending.
We’re genuinely excited to offer it to riders who demand cutting-edge performance in an electric bike. Built around Orbea’s revolutionary RS Control System, the Rallon RS integrates the motor, suspension, drivetrain and dropper into one intelligent ecosystem. The result is a bike that reacts instantly to the trail beneath you, reducing rider input and maximising control when conditions get technical. Combined with Orbea’s refined carbon frame and progressive geometry, the Rallon RS delivers an incredibly natural ride feel that blurs the line between analogue and electric mountain biking.
Available in both RS-Team and RS-LTD specifications, the Rallon RS showcases some of the finest components on the market. The lightweight and ultra-quiet TQ motor provides smooth, torque-sensitive assistance that enhances your own effort rather than overpowering it, making long climbs and repeated descents more enjoyable without losing trail feel. On the RS-LTD model, advanced electronic suspension adapts in real time to terrain and rider input, keeping the bike perfectly balanced whether you’re charging downhill or navigating technical climbs. It’s a true enduro e-bike for riders who want top-tier performance without compromise.

The Rallon RS isn’t a traditional e-MTB — it’s designed around lightweight performance and integration. Carbon frame, refined geometry, and an RS Control System that integrates motor, electronics, dropper and (on some models) suspension set it apart from most current e-MTBs.
It’s Orbea’s centralised “nervous system” that connects motor assistance, Shimano Di2 shifting, and electronic dropper via one controller and single battery. On RS-LTD it also integrates automatic suspension adjustment.
The bike uses the TQ-HPR40 drive system — an ultra-light, near-silent motor delivering 40 Nm torque and ~200 W peak assistance tuned to feel natural and supportive without overwhelming the rider.
Standard battery is 290 Wh internally, with an optional 160 Wh range extender available. Typical climbing range is 1,200–1,800 m of vertical ascent (terrain dependent).
The Rallon RS uses a carbon Orbea OMR frame with aggressive geometry and big-trail travel — 180 mm fork & 170 mm rear travel — making it extremely capable downhill.
Yes — the RS is compatible with full 29” or mullet (29” front, 27.5” rear) setups without geometry compromise thanks to dedicated linkage design.
The bike uses the RS Control HMI, a simple bar-mounted controller that manages assistance levels, dropper, and (on LTD) suspension settings.
Exact final weights vary by spec and wheel choice, but thanks to the compact battery/motor integration and carbon frame it’s remarkably light for an e-MTB.
Riders describe the Rallon RS as feeling more like a high-end analogue enduro bike than a traditional e-bike — torque is smooth and integrated, and handling feels remarkably balanced.
Make sure the lightweight assistance suits your style — it’s not a full-power downhill shuttle bike. It’s tailored more toward aggressive trail and enduro riding where weight and handling matter.
