What's more exciting than new 2025 bikes? That's right... New Orbea bikes! Specifically, the new 2025 Orbea Denna range of electric gravel/adventure bikes.
I've just come back from riding the lovely "Escape Green" 2025 Denna M30 which Orbea gave us to test prior to launch and it absolutely flies. I've ridden the last 5 generations of Orbea Gain, including the D30 1X gravel variant and this is nothing like them.
Its quicker, more comfortable, more compliant and everything about it just makes sense.
Orbea says - "Take all your preconceived limits and throw them away. Denna opens the doors to adventure and new ways to enjoy your rides".
What is 2025 Orbea Denna?
The 2025 Orbea Denna models are a brand new range of electric gravel and adventure bikes designed around "removing limits".

2025 Orbea Denna technology
Not content with just re-hashing a road bike to make their new adventure machine, the new 2025 Orbea Denna was designed with a brand new concept. "Joyful Adventure" is the starting point for the new Denna, and every aspect of the bike has been carefully considered against the type of rider its aimed at.
New motor tuning
The 2025 Orbea Denna range all make use of the Shimano EP motor series, but like the Orbea Rise with its custom "RS" and "RS+" motor tuning, the Denna gets a "GR and "GR Plus" tuning specific to just this bike.
Built in comfort
The brand new carbon frame for the 2025 Orbea Denna has built in absorption points, designed to control flex and absorb bumps and lumps from the trail and provide a more comfortable and less physically draining ride, freeing up energy for exploring.
By shaping the tube in a way which resists lateral flex, your energy expended into the bike is transformed into forward motion while allowing some vertical flex to absorb the bumps of adverse terrain.
Customisable power modes with the Shimano E-Tube App
Like with the Orbea Rise range of full suspension trail bikes, the Shimano EP motor series bikes fitted in the 2025 Orbea Denna can be fully customised in the Shimano E-Tube App. Orbea offers their own GR and GR Plus profile and these can be reconfigured to suit your ride.
2025 Denna's position in the eRoad range
The 2025 Orbea Denna range is designed to augment Orbea's offering in the eRoad sector.
Where previously Orbea offered a gravel variant of the Orbea Gain range of road specific bikes, the Denna offers much more in the way of geometry, technology and capability for those looking for a dedicated crossover platform, easily tackling both road and off-road in a solution specifically designed for its purpose.
What makes the 2025 Orbea Denna Unique?
Freedom - No Limits
Combining the Shimano RS Gen 2 RC motor, 50mm type cleanrance, Orbea's gravel specific geometry and "easy going" handling, the Orbea Denna is optimised for all day epics.
Long range
The 2025 Orbea Denna range will all come with an integral 420Wh battery. This new battery (the same as used in the 2025 Orbea Rise range of full suspension mountain bikes) has a significantly higher energy density than batteries which have come before it, meaning more power for less weight. Its also compatible with the Orbea Gen2 210Wh range extender, taking total range to 630Wh!
Ease of use
The whole 2025 Orbea Denna range uses Shimano brakes and gears, making spare parts availability and maintenance a doddle, wherever your ride takes you. In the interest of a clean cockpit, the bike also offers full integration with Garmin cycle computers to use as an e-bike screen. The Denna also offers rear pannier rack and mudguard mounts as standard.
Comfort
Utilising Orbea's own unidirectional carbon fibre design, the 2025 Orbea Denna has built in frame absorptions points, a compliant carbon fibre fork, componentry which has been selected for its comfort and made from advanced materials.
Personalisation
If placing a factory order via an Orbea dealer, its possible to alter some of the components of the bike to your preferred geometry, right out of the box. There are also countless component customisation options, as well as custom colourways available through the Orbea MyO platform.
