Features
A practical yet elegant trekking bike, featuring a Bosch Active Line motor, 400Wh PowerTube battery and a comfortable geometry. Fully equipped with all the essentials you could need for a full day in the saddle.
For long days in the saddle, the comfortable Selle Royal ergonomic saddle is paired with the Moustache's own suspension seat post, to further soak up any jolts at the rear.
The Bosch Active Line motor is cleanly integrated within the hydro-formed alloy frame, which has been designed to hold the 400Wh battery lower within the frame compared to previous models for a better centre of gravity.
The smooth welds really give the Samedi X-Road 1 a clean look, whilst the sturdy alloy mudguards further add to the premium feel of the bike whilst protecting the rider.
Brakes & Gears
To smooth out the roughest of roads, Moustache have spec'd the X-Road 1 with the Suntour NEX-E25 fork. These offer 63mm of front suspension with a lockout feature for the smoother terrain.
The MT200 brakes offer consistent braking regardless of weather, with the usual excellent modulation delivered from Shimano's hydraulic brakes.
To match the brakes, Moustache have fitted a complete Shimano Altus 9 Speed speed system. This gear system is well known for its ease of use, precise shiting and low maintenance costs.
This ensures the Moustache Samedi Road 1 is perfectly balanced in gears for descents and climbs. Be it cycling to work, that Saturday ride across the lanes or even bridleway paths and tracks, the Samedi X-Road 1 is ideal for any ride!
Shimano MT200 hydraulic brakes are reliable and need very little pressure to operate.

Shimano Altus 9 speed gearing provides a useful ratio for any terrain you plan to ride with minimal maintenance and fuss.

Trigger Shift gearing from Shimano is simple to use and incredible reliable, allowing you to just enjoy the ride!
Wheels & Tyres
The Samedi X-Road 1 features fast rolling 700c wheels. A large wheel rolls faster/rides easier over distance, whilst slightly wider 50c tyres offer additional comfort and grip on a mixture of surfaces from tarmac to gravel paths and bridleways.
Hutchinson Python tyres can be run at lower presssure for additional comfort and grip on gravel paths and bridleways.
Alternatively, they can be run at higher pressures for faster rolling on the road. These tyres are also great at preventing nasty punctures with their thick lining!
The bottom line..
You can't help but marvel at the beauty of a Moustache bike and there is no change for 2023. Hand built in house by superior technicians: The level of detail is exceptionally well refined from this eBike manufacturer.
Moustache have always exclusively used Bosch motors in their eBikes, so they really know what they're doing. From the ground up, the Moustache Samedi models are designed to be effortlessly smooth both in ride and finish.
The Moustache Samedi X-Road 1 not only looks great due to it's smooth welding and PowerTube battery, it's practical for many riders too.

The new Moustache Samedi X-Road 1 2023 features the latest Bosch Active Line Plus eBike system. Offering a larger sprocket upfront with no internal gearing, this motor is much quieter and features little resistance when pedalling outside of the assistance.
The system is designed to be smooth and is around 30% more compact than it's predecessor. Offering support up to 250% and peak torque levels of 50Nm its power delivery is strong and smooth.
For 2023 Moustache have equipped the Purion display, offering all the essential parameters on one easy to read display, including:- Speed, assistance mode, average, speed, range, odometer and battery bar.
The Moustache Samedi X-Road 1 comes with a 400Wh battery, offering a full day in the saddle with no battery range anxiety. Support is delivered in 4 different assistance modes up to 15mph.
The Bosch Purion display is incredibly simple to use - you'll eventually find yourself changing modes without even looking!

The Bosch Active Line Plus motor offers 50Nm of hill beating power and is very common on higher end hybrid and leisure bikes.
The Bosch PowerTube 400Wh battery neatly fits inside the frame. It offers up to 100 miles of assisted riding. It can be charged both in the bike or when removed.
What's included
Your new electric bike gets a full set-up by our workshop technicians ahead of delivery.
Your eBike will arrive with a user manual, keys (where applicable), charger & free follow up service (at our service center) within 3 months of delivery.
This electric bikes includes a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics and 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims via our dedicated support in-house.
E-Bikeshop is a UK Electric Bike Service Center and our in-house workshop is exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We have time to support the eBikes we sell.

We generally keep over 150 eBikes built in our showroom. Note: Some models shown as 'Pre-Order' may not be in the showroom to view as the bike is still due from the supplier. We can also give you the opportunity to ride a similar electric bike so you can get a feel for how electric bikes work prior to purchase.
Should you wish to purchase, we give the option to take it away that same day (subject to stock) with any extras fitted and a handover session on the bike itself by one of our eBike experts.

For delivery on 'Pre-Order' items, the estimated arrival date is shown at the point of order. On arrival our team will make contact to settle any outstanding balance. Once settled in full, we'll then proceed to dispatch your new eBike without delay.
